Belarus, Azerbaijan to cooperate in satellite communication

Belarus and Azerbaijan are ready to cooperate in the sphere of satellite communication, BelTA learned from representatives of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
Cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan in the sphere of satellite communication is supposed to be discussed during the next session of the Azerbaijani-Belarusian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Minsk in Q1 2015.
A meeting of the two ministers will take place to focus on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the sphere of high technologies.
BelTA has learned that the two countries are considering using low-orbit satellites for joint scientific researches.
Previously Belarus and Azerbaijan reached an agreement to cooperate in using the data collected by the Belarusian satellite BKA.
