Belarus’ Council of Ministers approves draft agreement on sci-tech cooperation with Pakistan

The Council of Ministers of Belarus has approved a draft agreement on cooperation in science and technology between Belarus and Pakistan by passing resolution No. 429 “Concerning negotiations on a draft agreement between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in science and technology and on the signing of this agreement” which was published at the National Legal Internet Portal on 26 May, BelTA has learned.
The document specifies that the Council of Ministers rules to approve the draft agreement between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in science and technology as a basis for further talks.
The State Science and Technology Committee has been authorized to hold the talks. The committee is also allowed to introduce amendments and addenda of no fundamental nature to the document. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been authorized to sign the document if the sides come to an agreement.
The resolution enters into force after its passing.
