The law on environmentally friendly farming can be introduced in Belarus soon, Vice Premier Mikhail Rusyi said at the National Assembly joint meeting on 28 November, BelTA has learned.
“I think the law might be drafted next year,” Mikhail Rusyi said.
Speaking about so-called alternative farming, Mikhail Rusy noted that a group of farmers in Belarus are working in the area. “We should support the farmers,” Mikhail Rusyi said adding that biological farming is expensive. Everything should be cultivated with the help of organic fertilizers.
“Eco-products cost much. They are differently marked. We should develop this area,” Mikhail Rusyi said.
