Belarusian HTP may hold presentations in USA in autumn

Director of the Hi-Tech Park Administration Valery Tsepkalo is on a visit to the United States of America on 7-11 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The visit was organized with the assistance of the Belarusian Embassy in the United States. In Washington Valery Tsepkalo met with the representatives of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the International Monetary Fund, the Director of the Eurasian Office of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the representative of the business training program SABIT. Valery Tsepkalo held talks in the Acceleprise Ventures fund and visited the Canvas Co-Working business incubator.

Valery Tsepkalo met with manager of the Information for Development program of the World Bank Valerie D’Costa to discuss cooperation of the Hi-Tech Park with this initiative. The sides agreed to arrange the visit of the representative of the program to Belarus.

The HTP Administration Director met with Co-chairman of the Belarus-USA Business Cooperation Council David Baron and CEO of TransparentBusiness Alex Konanykhin to discuss the organization of a number of HTP presentations in the USA in the autumn of 2014.

Valery Tsepkalo will also travel to Philadelphia, Pa. on 9 July. There he will meet with the head of the business council of Middle Atlantic states, visit the Hi-Tech Park and a business incubator. Valery Tsepkalo will hold a number of meetings with heads of business associations, investment and hi-tech companies in New York on 10-11 July.
