Belarusian specialists to work at Vostochny Cosmodrome construction site

A group of specialists from Belarus is gearing up to leave for the Vostochny Cosmodrome construction site in Russia for land use planning and management, BelTA learnt from First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Alexander Kruchanov.

“We have received a proposal to take part in the construction of the Vostochny Cosmodrome facilities in Amur Oblast. Partaking in the project will be construction organizations. If there is a need for example in the supplies of Belarusian equipment and construction materials, we are ready to help. In the near future a group of specialists will be send to prepare the construction site, i.e. to conduct land use planning and management works,” the official said.

As was reported, Belarusian construction organizations will take part in five Vostochny Cosmodrome construction projects in Russia with the estimated cost of the works at RUB1.5 billion. The agreement was reached during a visit of the delegation of the Architecture and construction Ministry of Belarus led by head of the main construction department Oleg Mozgo to Amur Oblast.
