MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian company MTZ has started a large-scale project meant to introduce digital solutions in designing and preproduction processes, the company's press service told BelTA.
The project head Mikhail Ledvik said: “The key purpose is to increase effectiveness and the competitive ability of the enterprise so that it could earn more and secure maximum profits. Transition to digital technologies is expected to reduce the number of errors during the designing of parts and components by at least three times. In turn, it will reduce the probability of making poor-quality products. The quality of design, manufacturing, and operation documents will be improved.”
The professional level of the engineers will be increased. They will have less routine work to do and more time for innovation and novel ideas. All of it will significantly expedite the development and preproduction of new vehicles and their market launch.
