BelAZ will showcase the 55-tonne dump truck specially designed for the tropical climate at Mining Indonesia 2013 due in Jakarta in September, BelTA learnt from the company.
BelAZ-7555 dump truck is designed to haul 55 tonnes, is equipped with the Cummins engine, electrical wiring for the tropical climate, and is complete with six tires from Belshina also specially designed for the tropical climate. It is planned that after the expo the truck will be sent to the Indonesian consumer.
According to the agreement reached at the Belarusian-Indonesian Business Forum held in Jakarta on 19 March BelAZ shall supply 20 dump trucks with the carrying capacity of 45-110 tonnes to Indonesia before the end of the year. The 110-tonne dump truck will be the first such truck with electromechanical transmission on the Indonesian market.
Indonesia has earlier imported BelAZ dump trucks with the 45-tonne payload capacity. Belarusian heavy-duty vehicles (five BelAZ-75473 dump trucks) were first exported to Indonesia in 2012. BelAZ sells its vehicles through Belaziapte.LTD dealer on the Indonesian market. The company got the dealer status in 2012, sells dump trucks to Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.
