Six projects developed by BelTA News Agency has won the annual Internet Award TIBO 2015, BelTA informs.
This year Belarus’ best Internet resources were named in 15 nominations. The website of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus claimed the title of the best Internet resource among the national government bodies. Second best in the nomination was the website of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Third was the official website of the Healthcare Ministry developed by BelTA News Agency.
The best Internet resource among the city, oblast and district executive committees was the website of the Myadel District Executive Committee also developed by BelTA News Agency. Second here went the official Internet portal of the Minsk City Hall, while the third place was occupied by the website of the Gomel Oblast Committee (developer - BelTA).
Another BelTA’s project, the website of the Minsk road police department, got a special diploma.
The first place in the nomination Education and Science was shared by the websites BSU Applicant and Electronic Magazines and Diaries. School Portal in Belarus. Second best in the nomination went to the education platform effort.by, third was the website of the BSUIR Department of Computer Systems and Networks
The website 100 Ideas for Belarus won in the nomination Socially Important Project. the nomination awards also went to the resource of the All Hallows Church in Minsk, the website of the Communist Party of Belarus and the Kommunist Belarusi newspaper.
The panel of judges named the best information recourses. This year these were ont.by (the official website of the ONT TV Channel), the Internet resource of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company, the websites of the Gomelskiye Vedomosti newspaper and Minsk Novosti Agency.
The websites of OAO Bereza Creamery, Minsk Tractor Works and Tvoya Stolitsa Group clinched awards in the nomination Corporate Internet Resource.
BelTA’s Internet project TV Program, Announcements and News won in the nomination Catalogues and Electronic Service. Second best was the Euroopt online food delivery, third – the website of Keramin Stolitsa Invest.
The website of the Yanka Kupala Academic Theater was named the best in the nomination Culture and Art. The awards in the nomination also went to the Internet resource of Belarus 3 TV Channel and the website of the Vitebsk Oblast Philharmonic Society.
The awards in the nomination Sport, Tourism and Entertainment went to the websites of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation, the FC Dinamo Minsk and the information and tourist center Minsk.
The websites of the BRSM Youth Union, the Youth of Gomel Oblast and the children’s magazine Vyasyolka picked up awards in the nomination For Children and Youth.
The jury’s special award went to the Internet resource Novosti Belarusi (foreign language version; BelTA).
The projects of the Belarusian Railways, the Yanka Kupala Literary Museum and the Bobruisk website Bobrlife were named the most original Internet resources.
BelTA’s Chronicles of the Victory was named the best Internet resource about the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
The jury’s special awards went to the website of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and BelTA’s project Nuclear Power in Belarus and Worldwide.
The 22nd edition of the International Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Bank Technologies TIBO 2015 is held in Minsk from 22 to 25 April. The forum has been organized by the Belarusian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The forum includes the 22nd international exhibition TIBO 2015 and the 22nd Belarusian Congress on IT. Partaking in the expo are over 200 companies from 13 countries.
