Beltopgaz, UniControls considering joint production of telemetry systems

Beltopgaz Company and the Czech company UniControls are considering a project to start the joint production of telemetry systems. This project was discussed during a visit of a UniControls delegation to Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Energy Ministry of Belarus.

 Representatives of the Beltopgaz, Mingaz and Belgaztekhnika companies and the UniControls delegation discussed the further implementation of the project to refit and upgrade the control center which oversees the gas supply to the city of Minsk and Minsk District. The parties also discussed the promising areas of possible cooperation such as the joint development and production of the telemetry systems (telemetric devices) and other automatic means at Belgaztehhnika company.

 "Both sides noted the interest in further cooperation," the press service added.

 The state-run company Beltopgaz was founded in 1958. It runs a well-developed network of gas distribution, peat extraction and peat processing enterprises, research and design institutions, civil engineering divisions, enterprises specializing in manufacturing gas equipment, means to automate technological processes and spare parts.

 UniControls is one of the leading Czech developers of modern microprocessor technologies. The company designs the industrial systems of control, telemetry and data transmission.
