The CIS Heads of Government Council approved of the list of 11 pilot projects under the interstate innovation cooperation program through 2020, BelTA has learnt.
The list includes projects in information technologies, nanotechnologies, manufacturing technologies, aviation, space and transport systems, security, energy effectiveness, rational nature management, and healthcare. The projects are estimated at the total of $190 million.
The program is aimed at harmonization of the national innovation systems, development and implementation of interstate targeted programs and innovative projects.
There has been adopted a complex of events under the program for 2012-2014, which includes issues regarding legal, organizational, technological, information and personnel support.
The customer of the program, Rossotrudnichestvo, has launched the program of opening innovation cooperation centers in its offices, first of all, in the CIS member states with a focus on the development of social networks of innovation cooperation and performing functions of contact points for national participants of the program.
