Work on developing the Israeli-Belarusian High-Technology Park project is nearing completion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Belarus Yosef Shagal told reporters today, BelTA has learnt.
“Now experts are finalizing the last documents and all provisions. The work is expected to take another month. Negotiations with the Israeli side will begin after that," the ambassador said. The proposal to establish the Park came from the Belarusian side, he added.
According to the diplomat, the high-tech park will not be modeled on the Chinese-Belarusian Park. “The park will focus on the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceutics and biotechnologies. Israeli companies will produce a high-technology product in Belarus, provide the relevant services. Such project envisages industrial co-management. The strategic goal of the park is to enter the market of the Single Economic Space,” Yosef Shagal said.
