EBRD-sponsored energy-saving office complex opens in Minsk

30.09.2014
An energy-saving office complex Clover Park opened in Minsk, representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) told BelTA.

The project has been implemented by the Israeli company Fishman Group with assistance of the EBRD, which had allocated €8.7 million for the project. The new office center consumes nearly half as less energy than an average office building in Belarus. The saved energy can reach 1.35MWh per annum or the equivalent of €85,500. Thanks to new ecological solutions the complex can also minimize carbon dioxide emissions, noted the source.

The total area of the Clover Park is 15,000m2. It is located in the Hi-Tech Park. The office complex is designed to satisfy the growing demand for modern office space in the Belarusian capital. Apart from ф comfortable working environment it offers new economic, ecological, and social standards that will guide development projects, noted the EBRD representatives.

The EBRD is a major investor in Belarus. As of 1 September 2014 the bank has allocated over €1.5 billion for 66 projects.
