Egypt considering joint research projects with Belarus

Egypt has expressed its
interest in implementing scientific projects together with Belarus. The
idea was discussed during the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Rachkov and President of the
Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt Mahmoud Sakr, the
press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Among other things the sides discussed projects concerning agriculture and food, land melioration, power engineering, use of water resources, information technologies, and mechanical engineering.
The sides reached an agreement on arranging a science and practice seminar involving representatives of the academies of sciences of Belarus and Egypt, said the source.
