Experts from 11 countries to discuss energy-efficient restoration in Minsk

Experts from 11 countries will discuss energy-efficient restoration of historical buildings at the international conference “Technologies for energy-efficient reconstruction and restoration of historical buildings” that will be held in Minsk on 4 September, BelTA learnt from Yuri Lukashevich, Aide to the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus.

“The conference will feature Europe’s best practices and technologies of energy-efficient reconstruction that will help preserve historical buildings in the Belarusian climate,” Yuri Lukashevich said.

The event is part of the project “COOL Bricks – Climate Change, Cultural Heritage & Energy-Efficient Monuments”. This is an international technical aid project meant for Belarus. Taking part in the conference will be experts from Belarus, Russia, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Finland, Norway, Estonia, and Sweden.

The conference is organized by the innovative association Republican Center for Technology Transfer, the State Committee for Science and Technology, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Innovative Foundation.
