The website is believed to be interesting both for adults and children. It offers social videos and educational cartoons. Apart from that, the website features books, articles, leaflets, videos, and results of studies into the financial awareness of Belarusians and the access to finance in Belarus.
The website offers tips about how to choose loans, how to learn to manage personal finance, information about the history of moneymaking, types of insurance, various aspects of taxation legislation. The website will regularly offer news about financial events and actions. There are plans to regularly update the website with new and interesting materials.
The creators of the website expect all the interested participants of the financial market to supply information to the website. It will rule out double information, incorrect information and will increase trust in this information in addition to achieving synergy in raising the financial awareness of Belarusians.
Sergei Dubkov noted that the website had gathered together the pieces of financial literacy information that used to be disunited. “We have studied the experience of other countries. The World Bank has assisted us. As a result, we have created an interesting product that will grow in the future. It will be a component in raising the financial awareness of people of various ages,” said the official.
The website www.fingramota.by is designed to raise the awareness of Belarusians about financial products and services, encourage rational financial practices in decision-making, and popularize the idea of smarter financial management among Belarusians.
