Grand airshow in Borovaya on 21 June

The central aeroclub n.a. two-time Hero of the Soviet Union S.I.Gritsevets under Belarus’ Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy will mark its 80th anniversary on 21 June with a grand airshow, BelTA learnt from the aeroclub.

The program of the show will feature helicopters, jets, gliders, model aeroplanes, paratroopers, Rus and Belaya Rus aerobatic teams. The flying display will feature Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-24, Mi-26, An-2, L-39, Yak-52, Yak-55, MiG-29, Su-25.

For example, the public will witness a parachute jump from Mi-8 by two paratroopers with the Belarusian state flag, a display flying of two Mi-2 helicopters, a nap-of-the- earth airdrop from An-2, the program of aerial stunts at the near ground level Freestyle and many more.

The program will also comprise a show of the Belarusian K9 Association.

The aeroclub has the country’s biggest museum of aviation equipment with a wide range of training and sport aircraft on display.
