India believes that cooperation with Belarus in creating medical equipment is promising. The statement was made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Pankaj Saxena during the opening ceremony of the Belarusian medical forum Belarus Medica in Minsk on 22 March, BelTA has learned.

Pankaj Saxena remarked that there are several areas where Belarus and India can step up interaction. The number includes, in particular, the creation of medical and diagnostics equipment and the development of healthcare tourism.

“The expo offers a platform that allows the two sides to meet each other and establish cooperation that will benefit both countries,” said the Ambassador. He went on saying that participation of Indian companies in the expo is an excellent opportunity for setting up relations for the sake of consequent establishment of joint ventures both in India and Belarus.

India is a guest of honor during the Belarus Medica expo. As many as 48 Indian companies demonstrate their healthcare industry accomplishments.

The expo is scheduled to take place in the Football Arena at 20/2 Pobeditelei Avenue, Minsk on 22-25 March.
