The China-Belarus Industrial Park should attract the biggest and well-known companies from Belarus and China as well as from Europe and other continents, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Zhang Gaoli on 26 September, BelTA has learned.
The President supported China’s proposal to give the Park a status of the interstate project. “Our major goal is to cooperate in setting up high-tech productions that will be in demand in the European space,” Alexander Lukashenko stated.
The President stressed that serious steps have been made this year to set up the Park.
The head of state stated that Belarus is proud of the high-level relations it has with China. “Belarus feels the shoulder and support of China,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
