Minsk to host Union State Forum of Universities

The 3rd Union State Forum of Engineering and Technological Universities will be held at the Belarusian National Technical University in Minsk on 6-11 October, BelTA learnt from the Union State Permanent Committee.

The theme of the forum is scientific and educational integration as the key factor to develop the high-technology sector of the Union State economy. The event will serve as a professional platform to interact and develop cooperation between sci-tech and educational centers of the Union State for more successful integration into the global economy, raising necessary investment and creation of innovative sci-tech and education platforms.

Attending the event will be representatives of state government bodies of the two countries, leading Belarusian and Russian universities and academies, business, scientists and specialists. The program of the forum will feature a sci-tech exhibition, Innovative Projects and Products, Sci-Tech Developments, Education Materials and Educational and Laboratory Equipment.

The forum will be held under the auspices of the Union State Permanent Committee, the Education Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The organizers hope that the forum will promote strengthening of the Russian-Belarusian sci-tech, educational and economic partnership.
