More information about public procurement contracts on the Internet as from 2015

More information about public procurement will be available on the Internet as from 1 January 2015, Tatyana Kozlovskaya, a public procurement consultant with the department of competition policy and public procurement of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said during the Belarusian-Russian conference "State and municipal procurement contracts, prospects of cooperation” in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

"As the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty comes into force on 1 January 2015 the amount of information on public procurement web-portals should be expanded. Today the amount of data on procurement is determined by national legislation. Early next year the situation will change. The web portals wil be obliged to publish the information ranging from invitations to any kind of public procurement procedures and ending with the data on the execution of procurement contracts. In addition, the web-portals will be obliged to post the information about complaints and the results of their review, the register of dishonest suppliers, information on the legislation governing public procurement procedures,” Tatyana Kozlovskaya said.

The conference "State and municipal procurement contracts, prospects of cooperation addresses the issues of legal regulation of public procurement in Belarus and Russia, electronic trading platforms and control over the order placement system in Russia, contract negotiation, etc.

Attending the conference are representatives of the Trade Ministry of Belarus, department of competition policy and public procurement of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, the association of electronic trading platforms, the department of foreign economic and international relations of the Moscow administration and other agencies.
