NASB to present over 60 novelties at World of Metal 2014 expo in Minsk

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) will showcase over 60 scientific projects at the 6th international exhibition World of Metal 2014 which is due to take place at the BelExpo Center in Minsk on 16-18 September, BelTA learnt from the NASB press service.
New scientific developments will be demonstrated by the state research and manufacturing association of powder metallurgy, the NASB Institute of Applied Physics, the state research and manufacturing association Tsentr, the NASB United Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the NASB Institute of Process Metallurgy, the NASB Physics and Technology Institute, The NASB Stepanov Institute of Physics, the Optron Instrument Making Plant. The area of the NASB collective stand will make up 50 square meters.
Scientific organizations will get familiar with technologies of drinking water ozonation and treatment, advanced wear-resistant materials and instruments applied in metal working. The expo will also feature devices of different purpose, used in petrochemical, mining and engineering industries; technologies and equipment for strategic protection of details and elements of constructions.
The program of the expo will include international exchange auctions of metal products, a seminar on materials and the latest technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
