New educational season at BSU’s innovative ideas center

The Start-Up center for innovative ideas and projects of the Belarusian State University (BSU) opens its educational season on 14 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the BSU.

Over the six weeks of studies the students will attend lectures, participate in seminars and trainings on Entrepreneurship, Business Planning of Start-up Projects, Intellectual Property Protection, Innovative Management, and Leadership and Teambuilding.

The seminars and trainings will be held by practicing specialists and best university professors: Dmitry Lukyanov, member of the International Project Management Association (Level A IPMA), managing partner of the consulting company Project Management Bureau, Galina Vashuk, Patent Attorney of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Director of Lexpatent, and Konstantin Zhuravsky, the founder of the Belarusian start-up movement (Startup Weekend Belarus, INVEST Weekend).

The Start-Up center was created at the BSU to provide informational and methodological support to young people with innovational ideas and projects, to improve business efficiency, to motivate students, and to create favorable conditions for the development of cooperation between the BSU and investment companies and organizations. The center was established according to the SUCSID international project of the TEMPUS program of the European Union.
