Plans for more transparent market of medications in Belarus

Plans have been made to make the Belarusian market of medications more transparent, BelTA learned from Alexander Tsetsokho, Chairman of the Healthcare, Physical Training, Family and Youth Policy Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, on 30 September.
The parliamentarian remarked that the social block makes a large part of the items on agenda of the forthcoming autumn session of the parliament that will begin on 2 October. In particular, the commission that Alexander Tsetsokho leads has prepared amendments to the law on medications. “The bill will allow more flexibly regulating the inflow of medications to our market and will make it more transparent. It is a very important consideration. To some extent the bill will allow the state to monitor the fulfillment of the terms that our accession to Eurasian space requires,” said the MP.
He stressed that it will be one of the significant and most-awaited documents. The number also includes amendments to regulations on donating blood and blood components, amendments and addenda to the legislation that have been developed in few of the recently adopted law on physical training and sport.
Alexander Tsetsokho assured that his commission will continue informing mass media about all the bills the way it had been done before.
