Record sales for Belarusian iPad app in USA, Europe

Developed by a resident company of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park, a mobile application for iPad is the top seller in the USA and Europe, HTP Administration Deputy Director Alexander Martinkevich told media on 30 July.

BelTA has learned that the app’s name is Smart Alarm Clock. Developed for iPad, the application tops the charts of the Apple App Store and is the most sold application in Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, and 70 other countries.

Smart Alarm Clock is designed to track sleep cycles. The application can help the user wake up during the right sleep cycle, which will allow the user to feel vivacious and have enough sleep. The application will also hint what the best time to go to bed is.

In H1 2013 earnings from selling products developed by residents of the Hi-Tech Park totaled Br1.88 trillion, 52% up from H1 2012. In H1 2013 export by software development companies of the Hi-Tech Park reached $189.6 million. Companies from 54 countries are customers of the Hi-Tech Park.
