Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan to create single navigation space

Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan have agreed to develop the single navigation space, head of the Kremlin administration Sergei Ivanov said at the Navitech 2014 forum on 23 April, BelTA learned.

“The creation of the single navigation space of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan is among our priorities. We have already reached relevant agreements, written agreements,” he emphasized.

Sergei Ivanov also said that the ground control segment of the Russian global satellite navigation system GLONASS will operate 50 stations in 36 foreign countries in the future.
