Belarus’ major enterprises have been successfully developing high-level information technology, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Academician Alexander Aseyev told reporters prior to a meeting of the international conference "Science for innovation development of the society" in honor of the 85th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences and Belarus Science Day, BelTA learned.
“Belarus is a country with very high scientific priorities and high-tech enterprises,” said Alexander Aseyev. He noted that the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has a very good base and boasts a high level in natural sciences, physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, quantum technologies, which have now become one of the most important areas.
Speaking about the plans for future cooperation with the Belarusian Academy of Sciences and the country in general, Alexander Aseyev highlighted activities in the defense sector. "Defense technologies are new generation. Here we are interested in no-touch combat, everything that is connected with robotization, high-level information technology," said Alexander Aseyev.
