Six Belarusian candidates arrive at Russian cosmonaut training center

MOSCOW, 20 December (BelTA) – Belarusian candidates for a space flight have entered the selection process in Russia, BelTA learned from the Roscosmos corporation website.

According to the source, the process to select a Belarusian candidate for a flight on board a Russian space vehicle Soyuz MS began in the Gagarin Research & Test Cosmonaut Training Center in Moscow Oblast.

Roscosmos clarified that six Belarusian candidates arrived in Russia and will soon go through medical examination in the cosmonaut training center. The results will be used to judge the fitness of the candidates for space flights.
