Belarus, Russia completing procedures to amend terms of loan for Belarusian NPP


MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and Russian head of government Mikhail Mishustin had a phone conversation at the initiative of the Belarusian side, BelTA learned from the government's press service.

Roman Golovchenko thanked his Russian counterpart for congratulating him on the occasion of his appointment as prime minister of Belarus. The parties discussed the schedule of future bilateral meetings and the plan of activities within the framework of the integration associations.

The heads of government welcomed the positive dynamics of the implementation of the agreements reached before, including the agreement on amending the terms of the Russian loan to build the nuclear power plant. All the necessary decisions have been taken and domestic procedures are being finalized.

The prime ministers discussed a number of pressing issues of trade and economic cooperation. Appropriate instructions to enhance cooperation will be given to the agencies of the two countries.
