Belarus delivered 180,000 tonnes of gasoline to Russia in July, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko told BelTA. He takes part in the session of the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim to discuss the operation of the enterprise in H1 2015 on 31 July.
In accordance with the agreement between the two countries, Russia delivers oil to Belarus, and Belarus, in turn, exports oil products to Russia.
“The principle which says that we cannot but deliver gasoline is included in all documents. We are guided by this principle. The current situation on the market is normal, therefore we delivered 180,000 tonnes of gasoline in July,” Vladimir Semashko said.
In line with the indicative balance of fuel and energy sources in 2015, Russia has to deliver 23 million tonnes of oil to Belarus. Belarus, in turn, has to export 1.8 million tonnes of motor gasoline to Russia.
