Belarus' oil import up by 1.5% to 18.7m tonnes in January-October 2015

In January-October 2015 Belarus' crude oil import was up by 1.5% as against the same period a year earlier to 18.7 million tonnes, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.
In January-October 2015 Belarus purchased oil worth $4.872 million. This corresponds to 71.6% of the crude oil costs paid by Belarus in January-October 2014. One tonne of crude oil cost $260 on average as against $368.9 in January-October 2014.
Belarus imported 1.2 million tonnes of petroleum products to the tune of $387.1 million in January-October 2015 (up 3.9 times over January-October 2014). The average price was $325.2 per tonne as against $769.9 in January-October last year.
In January-October 2015 Belarus exported 1.3 million tonnes of oil, down 0.2% from the same period in 2014, to a total of $506.6 million (down almost two times).
In January-October 2015 Belarus exported 13,771,000 tonnes of petroleum products, up 20.9% from the same period in 2014, to a total of $5.748 million ($8.480 million in January-October 2014 Belarus' oil import up by 2.9% to 15.4m tonnes in January-August 2015).
