Belarus promised 23 million tonnes of Russian oil in 2014

The possibility of delivering 23 million tonnes of oil to Belarusian oil refineries in 2014 was confirmed during talks between the leadership of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim and the Russian Energy Ministry, Belneftekhim’s press service told BelTA.

The talks took place in Moscow on 18 December. The Belneftekhim delegation was led by Belneftekhim Chairman Igor Zhilin. The negotiations with top officials of the Russian Energy Ministry were focused on the supply of raw materials to Belarusian oil refineries in 2014.

At the meeting Russian Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov confirmed the possibility of delivering 23 million tonnes of oil to Belarus in 2014.
