Belarus reduces oil export duties 1 December

On 1 December 2014 Belarus reduced export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Customs Union, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The export duty on crude oil went down from $316.7 to $277.5 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline and commercial gasoline is now $249.7 per tonne as a against $285 per tonne before. The export duty on light and medium distillates is $183.1 ($209). The same duty is applied to benzene, toluene, xylene, fuel oil, lubricants, waste oils, petrolatum and paraffin, petroleum coke (except for calcinated petroleum coke) and oil bitumen.

The export duty on diesel fuel was reduced from $205.8 to $180.3 per tonne, that on liquefied gases from $125.8 to $124.8 per tonne.

Exports duties on crude oil and some categories of oil products were previously reduced on 1 November.

The above-mentioned duties are set at levels equal to the duties imposed in Russia.
