Belarus reduces oil export duties

Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union on 1 December. The relevant decision is contained in Council of Ministers executive order No.985 of 26 November 2015, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The export duty on crude oil will go down from $97.1 to $88.4 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline will be $75.1 per tonne as against the previous $82.5 per tonne, commercial gasoline - $68.9 ($75.7).

The export duty on light and medium distillates will be $42.4 ($46.6). The same duty is applied to gas oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

Exports duties on crude oil and some categories of oil products were previously revised on 1 November. Then they were increased.
