Belarus, Slovenia sign declaration on cooperation in peaceful uses of atomic energy

Belarus and Slovenia have signed a joint declaration to develop cooperation in peaceful uses of atomic energy, BelTA has learned.

The document was signed between the Energy Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Slovenia at the fifth meeting of the joint Belarusian-Slovenian commission on trade, economic, and sci-tech cooperation.

Thus, a legal basis for cooperation in the peaceful uses of atomic energy has been created between the two states. Under the document, the two countries will share experience, train specialists for nuclear power plants, do research activity. Belarus and Slovenia are expected to sign other documents regulating bilateral cooperation in the area in the future.
