Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, oil products 1 July

Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and oil products which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union on 1 July. The relevant decision is laid down by Council of Ministers' executive order No. 535 of 26 June 2015 published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 30 June, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude oil will drop from $144.4 to $143.1 per tonne. The export duty on straight-run gasoline will go down from $122.7 to $121.6 per tonne, with the export duty on commercial gasoline down from $112.6 to $111.6 per tonne. The export duty on light and medium distillates will stand at $68.6 per tonne (down from $69.3). The same export duty will be applied to benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The rates of the export duties on crude oil and certain oil derivatives were increased on 1 June.
