Belarus to spend over $2bn in oil export duties on repaying state debt in 2015

Belarus plans to spend over $2 billion in oil export duties on repaying the foreign-currency state debt, BelTA learned from Belarusian Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus on 11 December.
In 2015 Belarus’ state budget intends to earn over $2 billion as export duties on oil products and customs duties on exporting the oil extracted in the country and spend the money on repaying the foreign-currency state debt, both the internal one and the foreign one.
Apart from that, taking into account borrowing opportunities on the global financial market there are plans to use external finances to the tune of about $1 billion to honor commitments of the foreign-currency state debt.
