Belarusian Communications Ministry eager to cooperate with Korean software developer

MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – The Communications and Informatization Ministry is interested in cooperation with the Korean company SRPOST. The possibilities were discussed during a videoconference meeting of representatives of the ministry and the Korean software developer, the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry told BelTA.

Representatives of the Belarusian telecommunication giant Beltelecom and the communications design and standardization company OAO Giprosvjaz also took part in the meeting. The sides discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in the area of smart cities and digital government within the framework of possible participation in programs financed by the Korean government. A draft memorandum of understanding between the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry, Beltelecom, and SRPOST was reviewed.

SRPOST is a major software developer. It specializes in the development of customer relationship management (CRM) software, software for managing postal offices, customized SI/SM development, development of utility software for parliaments/city administrations, and utility systems based on new technologies.
