Belarusian Oil Company set to considerably increase export in 2015

In 2015 ZAO Belarusian Oil Company intends to increase the export of oil products by over 40% in comparison with 2014, BelTA learned from Sergei Grib, Deputy Director General of Belarusian Oil Company, during the conference held on 24 September to discuss production, trading, and retail aspects of the market of oil products and natural gas in the Republic of Belarus.

Belarusian Oil Company intends to export a total of 11.1 million tonnes of oil products in 2015. In January-July 2015 the company exported 8.5 million tonnes. In the entire year of 2014 the company exported 7.8 million tonnes.

For the sake of exporting dark oil products the company has signed transshipment contracts with 12 terminals in seven ports. Sergei Grib explained that those are Baltic Sea ports (Klaipeda, Ventspils, Riga, Muuga, and Tallinn) and Black Sea ports (Nikolayev and Odessa).

The private joint-stock company (ZAO) Belarusian Oil Company was founded in 2007. At present it is the leading exporter of oil products from Belarus. The company is focused on consolidating export volumes of oil products made by OAO Naftan and OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery. The commodity distribution network of Belarusian Oil Company comprises two affiliated companies in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Latvia.
