The interdepartmental working group established by Resolution No. 158р signed by Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov on 4 May 2017 has been instructed to prepare a national safety reevaluation report (stress tests) for the Belarusian nuclear power plant, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The interdepartmental working group led by Olga Lugovskaya, Head of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor), has been instructed to complete the report by 31 August 2017.
If necessary, the group shall involve, in the prescribed manner, the national government bodies and other state organizations subordinated to the Belarus government to the work on the report.
Belarus’ Emergencies Minister Vladimir Vashchenko shall oversee the execution of the instruction of the government.
