MEI rector: Youth cooperation can make basis for Union State development

Cooperation between young people can make a real basis for the development of the Union State, Rector of the Moscow Energy Institute (MEI) Nikolai Rogalev told media during the 3rd Forum of Union State Forum of Engineering and Technological Universities in Minsk on 8 October, BelTA has learned.

“Energy is a foundation of technological development. The forum should give answers to many questions related to the energy sector, new prospects of cooperation between young people as it is a real basis for the development of the Union State. Close cooperation between Belarusian universities and the manufacturing is a valuable experience for us. We have a lot in common: we also have a solid cooperation with the industrial sector. We have a lot to discuss and have something to work on,” Nikolai Rogalev said.

Minsk is hosting the 3rd Union State Forum of Engineering and Technological Universities at the Belarusian National Technical University on 6-11 October. The event is aimed at the support of the youth innovation entrepreneurship and involvement of talented youth in the innovative activity. The event will consider the issues of energy security in the Union State. The forum features sci-tech exhibitions, lectures, business trainings, roundtables.

The forum is organized by the Belarusian National Technical University, the National Research University MEI under the auspices of the Union State Permanent Committee, the Education Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
