16.02.2015
The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft will expand the network of outlets that accept the company’s fuel cards in Russia and the European Union in 2015, representatives of the company told BelTA.
In particular, the number of refueling stations located along the main motorways in Russia will reach 200 while the number of refueling stations in Europe will reach 50. Last year Belorusneft’s fuel cards were accepted by 38 refueling stations in Russia. At the same time only a handful of refueling stations in the European Union accept Belorusneft’s fuel cards. Those are the refueling stations the company has signed the relevant agreements and has smooth partnering relations with, explained the source.
Belorusneft’s representatives stressed that, in other words, this year Belorusneft’s fuel cards will go international. The move will improve their competitive ability.
The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft is Belarus’ largest retailer of oil products and boasts the largest network of refueling stations in Belarus. At present the number of Belorusneft’s refueling stations in the country exceeds 530. The network accounts for about 66% of the total automobile fuel sold in the country.
