Belarus attends NSSC network annual meeting in Vienna
For the first time Belarus attended an IAEA annual meeting of nuclear security support centers, BelTA learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
On 25- 27 February the IAEA headquarters in Vienna hosted the thematic meeting on the development of a network of support nuclear security centers, the press service informed that
Attending the event was Yury Yaroshevich, deputy head of multilateral diplomacy, head of the department of economic cooperation and sustainable development of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.
Belarus’ accession to the NSSC network and its membership in the working group on best practices aim to maximize positive international experience and the appropriate package of services by the IAEA to promote nuclear power programs in accordance with international safety standards.
