In 2016 Belarusian Oil Company (BOC) plans to keep the export of its oil products at least at the level of 2015, BelTA learnt from BOC Deputy Director General Sergei Grib.
“Taking into account the current situation, we believe the export will be at the level of 2015, i.e. 13.8 million tonnes of oil products,” the deputy head of the company said.
According to Sergei Grib, Belarusian Oil Company posted its record-high exports last year. In his words, the reason behind it is a reduced volume of oil processed at the oil refineries of Belarus by Russian companies on a give-and-take basis. The move increased the share of the public sector represented by Belarusian Oil Company in export shipments, the Deputy Director General said.
Founded in 2007, Belarusian Oil Company is Belarus’ leading exporter of oil products. The company is focused on consolidating export volumes of oil products made by OAO Naftan and OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery. The commodity distribution network of Belarusian Oil Company comprises affiliated companies in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Latvia.
