No problems with electricity supply from Ukraine to Belarus

21.05.2014
Belarus is getting electricity from Ukraine without any problems despite the political crisis in that country. The statement was made by Belarusian First Deputy Energy Minister Leonid Shenets during the Belarusian Industrial Forum on 21 May, BelTA has learned.

“We have no problems with supplies within the framework of the agreement: Ukrainian companies have confirmed that they will deliver as much electricity as the plans stipulate,” said Leonid Shenets.

He reminded that this year Belarus intends to import 3 billion kWh from Ukraine and about 1 billion kWh from Russia.
