Nuclear power cost optimization in focus of AtomExpo 2014

Planning and cost optimization of the nuclear power at the stages of design and construction will be discussed during the framework of the 6th international forum AtomExpo 2014, BelTA learnt from the Atomexpo (Russia) press service.

In the course of discussion, the roundtable participants will consider the ways for the cost optimization of the energy generated at NPP, kWh cost evaluation methods, details of legal and regulatory framework in China.

The roundtable is expected to be attended by representatives from the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation, Federal tariff service, as well as public, scientific, educational and commercial organizations, including EDF, FSUE Russian Energy Agency, Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC, Beijing Institute of Nuclear Engineering, etc.

AtomExpo 2014 will take place in Moscow on 9-11 June. The event has been organized by the Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom. Over the time of its existence, the Atomexpo forum has become one of the central platforms to discuss the current issues of the world’s nuclear energy and develop trends of its further development. The forthcoming forum will feature a specialized exhibition and a congress with the participation of representatives of international, state and public organizations, Russian and foreign companies.
