MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – Pakistan will examine Belarusian experience in the sphere of daily operation and control of the power engineering industry, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
The relevant agreement was reached as a Pakistani delegation led by Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan visited the operations control center of Belarus' power grid. Members of the delegation were made familiar with how operation modes of power grid installations are controlled, with how modern automation and digitization systems are used in the sphere of real-time operations control.
The Energy Ministry noted that the delegation had praised Belarus' practices and expressed interest in studying them. “We are impressed by the level of organization of the control center's work and are interested in borrowing cutting-edge Belarusian practices,” Khurram Dastgir Khan noted.
The Pakistani delegation also visited the central control room of the Belarusian fuel and gasification industrial group Beltopgaz.
