Rosatom among AON Best Employers 2016 in Russia

29.11.2016
The State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom was among the 14 companies awarded the status of AON Best Employer 2016 in Russia, BelTA learned from the corporation.

The AON Best Employers Russia 2016 awards ceremony was held as part of HR forum “Strategic Issues of Human Resource Management” organized by the business newspaper Vedomosti. Director of Axes Management (Aon Hewitt Alliance Member) Sergey Lvov and Head of Development at AON Best Employers, Russia Ksenia Petrova presented the commemorative figurines and the AON Best Employer 2016 international certificates to the winners.

“Rosatom is one of the best success stories among the companies participating in the certification. The first engagement measurement at Rosatom was carried out in 2011. Annually, the indicators improved showing steady growth and, finally, Rosatom made it to the best employers’ ranking. By the way, in 2015 Rosatom missed, literally, a few points to the victory which it has achieved this year.  A key feature of this rating is the fact that the employees, themselves evaluate their employer. We are very happy that Rosatom has been awarded the prize as one of the best employers in this country. Now, it is important to maintain the positions. Rosatom actively works in the foreign markets, and I hope that winning this prestigious international certificate will help the company engage the best staff in its host countries,” Sergey Lvov noted.

The ceremony also included a plenary discussion “The Work to Involve: Experience of Leading Companies” which was attended by First Deputy CEO for Corporate Functions and Chief Financial Officer of ROSATOM Nikolai Solomon. Representatives of the companies-winners acted as experts and shared their best practices with the audience.

AON Best Employers is one of most well-known international certification systems organized by Aon Hewitt in 2001 to recognize and salute the achievements made by organizations that create competitive advantage through their people. The AON Best Employers certification is based on inquiries of employees, top management, HR officers of companies, and measures four indices: engagement, trust in management, sustainable development and performance culture, employer brand. This makes it possible to evaluate each company as objectively as possible. Certification in Russia was launched in 2006. More than 1,000 companies from around the world took part in the 2016 research.
