Rosatom named among Russia’s top employers

The Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom has been placed among top three employers in a ranking compiled by HeadHunter online recruitment company, BelTA learned from Rosatom’s Communications Department. The top three also features the gas processing and petrochemicals company SIBUR and the oil company Gazprom Neft.

The HeadHunter ranking is the most influential project in the country that provides an independent evaluation of the attractiveness of Russian companies for employees. The seventh edition of the ranking published in 2016 features some 1,000 companies that were assessed against a combination of three criteria: popularity among job seekers (40%), employee engagement (40%) and HR management practices (20%). The ranking collected opinions from at least 40% of staff in companies employing from 100 to 500 people and at least 30% of staff in larger companies. The methodology and calculation methods used in the ranking are reviewed by independent international and Russian auditing companies. In different years, the role was performed by Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and KPMG. This time the ranking was audited by BDO Unicon partners and consultants.

The authors of the ranking note that the high position in the ranking is a testament to the good HR management practices, recognition and respect from other companies in the industry, and the brand strength. Specialists point out that even though the competition is very high, Rosatom maintains its position among the top three of the ranking for the second year in a row.

“To be among top three best employers for the second consecutive year is an excellent result. In 2016 the competition among top employers increased substantially. The ranking now features new strong labor market players, for example, Norilsk Nickel and Bayer. Rosatom State Corporation demonstrated growth across all the three dimensions which determine the place of a company in the Russia employer ranking: employee engagement, popularity among job seekers and HR management practices,” said Nina Osovitskaya, a consultant with the Russia employer ranking compiled by HeadHunter company.
