MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – Ukraine will increase electricity import from Belarus up to 870MW (out of the maximum possible number of 900MW) on 17 December after a five-day break when electricity import varied between 60MW and 100MW, TASS quoted the website of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) as saying.
On 16 December Ukraine's electricity import from Belarus stood at 100MW without breaks or fluctuations.
Ukraine resumed commercial electricity import from Belarus on 6 November, importing 23-24 hours per day with infrequent interruptions as long as one hour. Electricity import from Belarus was suspended for a few days in November.
