WANO Chairman sends a welcome address to the AtomExpo participants

In his address, Jacques Regaldo, WANO Chairman, emphasized, that the international forum AtomExpo has served as a key international venue uniting world experts, representatives from international and state companies to openly discuss world nuclear energy development aspects for as long as 6 years.

“Nuclear power’s share in the world’s energy basket is on the increase. Economic benefits and nuclear power effectiveness attract an ever-increasing number of participants from all over the world”, he remarked.

“I am confident that this year’s discussions on the main theme ‘Nuclear Power - Condition for Energy Stability" will allow discussions on the place of nuclear generation in the fuel basket of individual states and analyze current customer requirements during nuclear new build project implementation, as well as to identify new directions for continued and fruitful cooperation”, stressed Jacques Regaldo.

AtomExpo 2014 will take place in Moscow on 9-11 June. The event has been organized by the Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom.
